Meet Botswana’s Rising Voices Lesang Rachel Ntunyane and Bruce Kago Ntshwabi .

Africa Writers Caravan is dipped in promoting young African literary genius , positive change ,preservation of Africaness through poetry, the culture of reading and dialogue among African civilizations. Today, we feature the crème -dela creme of up and coming Botswana poets. These are literary gems of poetry, passionately polished by our recent Brave Voices Poetry Journal, famous spoken word poet, multi-awarding Gorata Mighty Ntswabi. Lesang Rachel Ntunyane exposes sufferance, pain and the disheartening negative effects of COVID 19 .It left a myriad of rotting scars in human lives and her poetry is revealing the same way the mirror does . She chronicles with passion and unbridled positive intent the strain, hopelessness and malaise that have since befallen African countries in particular Botswana and her neighboring countries. Bruce Kago Ntshwabi comes out guns blazing with poetic spikes boldly pointing onto the cancerous and tumultuous beast of corruption as perpetuated by those in higher offices and as its evil tail coils back into poverty stricken communities pushed onto the peripheral edges of the earth and human dignity is lost. The razor cutting whips of penury and poverty inflict deep cuts of pain and despair to humanity. This is a duet of young, powerful voices and more and more gem polishing is required. Africa Writers Caravan is prized by exhibiting such amazing talent from the great land of Botswana. Thank you great Performance poet, Writer and Arts Activist Gorata Mighty Ntswabi for horning and nurturing this amazing talent Aluta Continua! (Blurb by Mbizo CHIRASHA).
